DISTURBANCE – 4:28pm – 9700 block of Paseo de Oro - The caller did electrical work and the resident was refusing to pay him. The parties were counseled regarding a civil issue.
DISTURBANCE (Juveniles) – 4:52pm – 4300 block of Orange Ave. - Four to five teenagers were laying down int he street and jumping up when cars came by. One juvenile was released to a parent with counseling provided to both.

HAIL BY CITIZEN – 1:37pm – 9500 block of Valley View St. - Units were in pursuit of a possible robbery suspect who took a purse from an elderly female at the location. The purse contained a wallet, credit cards, and $1000 cash. Units pursued a vehicle with three subjects who bailed. Police units searching for the subjects included a Long Beach K-9 officer and a helicopter unit. Two subject were taken into custody at gunpoint. Police established a perimeter to contain the third subject. The helicopter unit located the subject and officers on the ground engaged in a foot pursuit before taking the subject into custody at gunpoint. The suspect vehicle was impounded and towed from the scene.
DISTURBANCE – 10:12pm – 4500 block of Avenida Grenada - An officer reported a disturbance at the park and requested assistance. A backup unit conducted a high-risk traffic stop on a Dodge Stratus around the corner of the park. Denni St. was shut down at Via Majorca. Two subjects were arrested for resisting/delaying an officer.

PEDESTRIAN CHECK – 9:39pm – Orange/Knott - Following a pedestrian check, police arrested a male subject for two outstanding warrants for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
DEAD ANIMAL – 10:52pm – 5800 block of Orange Ave. - The caller heard a vehicle possibly hit an animal and then came out to find a large raccoon, about 7 pounds. Animal Control advised.

BURGLARY REPORT – 3:40pm – 10800 block of Hope - A storage container in the loading dock was broken into. There was no loss, just damage to the container. The caller believed the subject twas returning for the generator they didn’t get in a previous burglary. Report taken.
TRAFFIC HAZARD – 6:53pm – Moody/Orange - The steel plates over the work holes appeared to be sinking into the street. The lane was shut down and Public Works was paged.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES – 9:54am – 9700 block of Pauline Dr. - The caller’s neighbor’s vehicle was running with the keys in it and no one was home. The owner called back and said the vehicle had a dead battery, so they left it running.
EXTRA PATROL CHECKS – 5:13pm – 4200 block of Via Largo - Juveniles were causing noise in the area and kept ringing the doorbell at midnight. The caller was counseled regarding calling the police when he sees the subjects. The caller was uncooperative with Dispatch about officers not being seen in the area and needing counseling regarding the situation. The caller was advised to call back when he was available for an officer to come speak with him. Beat unit advised.

CODE ALEX – 5:22am – 5200 block of Orange Ave. - The incident occurred at 5:08am. The subject was last seen in a White 2004 Dodge pickup, headed southbound I-5 from the northbound 55 Freeway. The subject was armed with an AR-15 style rifle and a shotgun and he made statements that he did not intend to be taken alive. The suspect committed a murder in Ladera Ranch. Station 34 advised that the suspect shot out of the vehicle multiple times with 5 victims by way of a rifle. Station 33 advised that the suspect vehicle being followed by a yellow truck was northbound on the 55 Fwy. passing Katella. A high-risk traffic stop was conducted at Wanda/Katella. Station 33 reported that the subject was down at the location.
PATROL CHECK – 3:11pm – 6200 block of Lincoln Ave. - A female was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia and false identification and three warrants. A male was arrested for a probation violation. Both subjects were transported to Orange County Jail.

CITIZEN ASSIST – 6:50pm – 4800 block of Lincoln Ave. - The caller’s brother was in the residence and drunk and the caller needed help with him. The subject had urinated all over himself and the caller could not lift him to care for him. Paramedics were requested to assist with the extremely intoxicated subject.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES – 10:30pm – 5600 block of Lincoln Ave. - The caller stated someone was breaking into the vending machine area in the lobby. The caller could see them through the camera. The caller stated he didn’t think it was the person who stocked the vending machine because they didn’t come a that time of day. Police advised that the subject checked okay – he as loading up a dolly with merchandise.
