What are the options for your child this summer? Enrichment! Academics! Fun! The fully accredited Los Alamitos Education Foundation presents the 8th annual Summer Enrichment Institute (SEI), which offers valuable classes to students in grades K-12 in two summer sessions (June 26-July 7 and July 10-21).
Classes run from 8 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. each day of the session. Small class sizes of 17 maximum students, taught by credentialed teachers in 2-hour blocks, provide an ideal learning environment and help your student avoid the summer learning loss. Elementary classes (at Rossmoor Elementary) include Jumpstart for K-5th grade, Spanish, computer literacy/coding, Fun with Food, science, STEAM, musical theater, sewing, art, dance and more.
For middle and high school students (at McAuliffe Middle School and Los Al High School), courses cover drivers education, preparing for the college essay, personal finance, photography, jewelry making, ukulele and more!
LAEF is offering multi-class discounts! Purchase your 1st class, then receive 25% off the 2nd class and 50% off any class thereafter. The discount is applied to a family or individual student. This discount is applied to LAEF’s Summer Enrichment Institute only; the discounts do not apply to Summer Sports Camps and Performing Arts Camps.
