April 7, 2017
Transient – 2:16 a.m. – Katella/Reagan – Police attempted to contact a female transient. Checked okay. The female was playing air guitar and did not want to contact the officer.
Traffic Stop – 2:34 a.m. – Farquhar/Reagan – Police initiated a traffic stop and conducted field sobriety tests on the driver. A male subject was subsequently arrested for DUI. The vehicle was towed from the location.
April 8, 2017
Disturbance (Subject) – 9:18 a.m. – 4300 block of Katella Ave. – A female subject was reportedly yelling that she was going to kill the police. Police were unable to locate the subject.
Brandishing a Weapon – 1:38 p.m. – 3800 block of Green Ave. – Juveniles was reportedly creating a disturbance with the caller’s son, and two had knives. The knives were believed to be pocket knives. The subjects were reportedly yelling out gang names. The caller’s son had words initially with the subject via Instagram and then it became a verbal disturbance in front of the residence. Police detained a total of five subjects. One subject was arrested for brandishing a weapon. It was determined that one of the witnesses was also involved in mutual combat and that they brandished at each other. Neither desired prosecution. The arrested subject was released on cite.

Disturbance (Noise) – 1:04 p.m. – 3800 block of Howard Ave. – A subject was reportedly fixing cars in alley, and fumes were going into the caller’s windows and the noise was bothering her. Police contacted the subject, who was working on his 1984 El Camino and advised him of the neighbor’s complaint. He stated that he was trying to get his car running. Counseled.
Reckless Drivers – 11:53 p.m. – Katella/Lexington – Five vehicles were reportedly racing to each light. Police were unable to locate the vehicles.
April 10, 2017
Suspicious Vehicle – 4:06 a.m. – 12000 block of Paseo Bonita – A vehicle was reportedly in the middle of the road, facing southbound. It was now cruising around. Police determined that it was newspaper delivery.
Traffic Stop – 10:36 a.m. – Bloomfield/Katella – Following a traffic stop, the police arrested a subject for resisting arrest and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
April 11, 2017
Transient – 2:03 p.m. – Bloomfield/Katella – A male subject wearing a cowboy hat was reportedly screaming at passersby. A second caller stated that he was yelling at the kids getting out of school. Another caller advised that the subject took out a handgun and showed it to the kids before putting it back in a backpack. Subject arrested for brandishing an imitation firearm.
Disturbance (Juveniles) – 4:43 p.m. – 10800 block of Oak St. – Three male juveniles were reportedly seen going into the access road to the flood control channel. They were reportedly putting on goggles. It was unknown if they were going into the water. Police contacted the subjects, who were skateboarding. They were very cooperative, and there was no evidence of vandalism. They were advised on trespassing on the west service road of Coyote Creek.
