Fraud Report – 5:07 p.m. – 3900 block of Shasta Ave. – Unauthorized charged were reported on the reporting party’s Macy’s credit card still in her possession.
Patrol Check – 9:14 p.m. – Katella/Los Alamitos – The caller reported debris in the roadway. It was determined that the debris was pieced of a DeWalt drill. The large pieces were removed from the roadway.

Suspicious Occupied Vehicle – 3:23 a.m. – 10300 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – Police contacted a subject who was sleeping in his vehicle. He stated that he worked for a company off of Sierra Cir. He was advised of his driver’s license status and will contact his boss about having him get the vehicle in the morning.
Citizen Assist – 12:26 p.m. – 10900 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – An elderly male caller reportedly lost his car parked between the location and the medical center. A unit was requested to assist him in finding it.

Counseling – 8:56 a.m. – 11200 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – The caller reported possible fraud occurring the day before. A male subject reportedly got the cashier confused on the change he received. The caller noticed $20 missing from the drive-thru cash till and believed it occurred during a transaction with the subject. The caller was counseled on employee training and possible ways to prevent future incidents.
Traffic Hazard – 9:14 a.m. – Katella/Via El Mercado – The caller reported a box of nails and screws in the street. Public Works requested to respond with a broom.

Vehicle Check – 2:44 a.m. – 3800 block of Cerritos Ave. – An employee at the business had left a vehicle’s engine running and the driver’s door open while he worked inside. The subject was advised regarding possible vehicle theft.
Suspicious Subjects – 10:42 p.m. – 3701 Toland Ave. (Stansbury Park) – Three male subjects were reportedly seen going into the park. It was unknown what they were doing. Police were unable to locate the subjects.
