Brew Kitchen Ale House rates in Register’s ranking, but locals in northwest Orange County already knew about this great addition to local eating options.
In an article in today’s Orange County Register, Brad Johnson ranks burgers from all over Orange County. He uses his own criteria.
He’s pretty picky.
So we here at Orange County Breeze are proud to report that Los Alamitos’s own Brew Kitchen Ale House makes the grade at number ten:
It’s probably no coincidence that there’s a Jenny Craig office next door to the Brew Kitchen in Los Alamitos. Just about every other person who walks through the door here ends up ordering a burger, a mix of freshly ground chuck and brisket. And these are not diet burgers. The best of the bunch is the Sancho, which is topped with a couple of roasted jalapeños, caramelized onions, bacon, avocado and ancho-chili mayo.
Cost: $13. 10708 Los Alamitos Blvd., Los Alamitos; 562-431-3900, brewkitchenalehouse.com
(And it’s the cheapest burger on the list!)
Our hearty congratulations
Congratulations to owner Joe Maggiore!
Brew Kitchen is in Center Plaza is right on the Boulevard. You can sit outside on a small patio to eat your burger, drink what’s currently on tap, and enjoy the passing parade. In addition to significantly adding to the dining scene in northwest Orange County, Joe has also been an active community supporter.
But parking can be a challenge at Center Plaza, so get there early or be ready to go hunting a space.
