The Iowa Association of Long Beach (IALB) will be holding their annual Iowa by the Sea Picnic in front of the historic Battleship IOWA on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Iowans and individuals who have a connection with the State of Iowa are invited to this year’s 117th annual picnic.
This family-oriented, non-alcoholic, non-smoking event will have plenty of entertainment and activities for adults and children to enjoy. There will be a catered BBQ, Iowa corn guessing game, live music, door prizes, and a silent auction. Guests will also be able to view memorabilia reflecting the rich history of the State of Iowa and famous Iowans on display.
