Traffic Hazard- 4:25 p.m. – Ball/Bloomfield – A street sign was reportedly down in the southbound lanes north of Ball Rd. The sign was moved.
Drunk – 10:00 p.m. – Los Alamitos/Katella – A subject reportedly appeared drunk, staggering in the parking lot. The subject was picked up by a friend and got a ride back to his residence. Checked okay.
October 1, 2017
Vehicle Burglary – 3:50 p.m. – 4600 block of Lampson Ave. – The caller reported a window smash to the caller’s vehicle, resulting in the loss of a purse and its contents. Report taken.
Traffic Stop – 6:57 p.m. – 11000 block of Winners Cir. – Following a traffic stop, a subject was arrested on two outstanding warrants and an additional drug charge. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
October 2, 2017
Fraud Report – 11:48 a.m. – 3800 block of Farquhar Ave. – The reporting party placed three checks into the mail and all three were reportedly stolen and cashed by an unknown suspect for a loss of $1625. The bank had been notified and would reimburse the reporting party. No report desired at this time.
Extra Patrol Check – 3:33 p.m. – 4100 block of Cerritos Ave. -</strong. The caller reported an ongoing problem with cars blocking the bike lane at around 3:00 p.m. The caller was a bicyclist and was almost hit by someone trying to park in the bike lane.

Suspicious Subject – 7:59 a.m. – 11000 block of Enterprise Dr. – The caller reported a suspicious male subject in his early fifties pushing a wagon. The caller observed the subject walking up a driveway in the area, but the subject did not live in the area. One subject arrested on an outstanding warrant. The wagon was dropped off.
Suspicious Vehicle – 3:35 p.m. – 10400 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – A vehicle had reportedly been parked at the location 2-3 days with a damaged steering column. The caller believed it was possibly an unreported stolen vehicle. Police confirmed that the vehicle had been stolen out of LASO Lakewood. The registered owner of the vehicle was contacted and responded to take custody of the vehicle.

Grand Theft Report – 3:39 p.m. – 10000 block of Calle Lee – Approximately $2500 worth of barbecue equipment, an unknown amount of cash, and an electric scooter were reportedly taken from the location when the suspect came to return his employee key and pick up property. Possible civil issue or misunderstanding.
Property Destruction – 5:32 p.m. – 3201 Katella Ave. (Los Alamitos Police Department) – The reporting party had property in her vehicle that she wanted to dispose of. Report taken.
October 5, 2017
Disturbance (Subject) – 10:47 a.m. – 4300 block of Katella Ave. – A subject who was previously told not to be in the store was reportedly at the location and was refusing to leave and threatened to assault the caller. Police determined there was no crime. The reporting party was advised regarding trespassing and assault and how they work.
Illegally Parked Vehicle – 5:31 p.m. – 10900 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – The caller reported a vehicle parked in the handicap spot in the parking lot without a placard and requested the vehicle be cited. Citation issued.

Reckless Driver – 6:59 p.m. – Ball/Bloomfield – A cab was reported driving recklessly, weaving and braking randomly. Unable to locate.
Disturbance (Subject) – 9:50 p.m. – 3700 block of Katella Ave. – A subject wearing a hospital gown with an open back was running out the door. The subject was returned and restrained.
