November 1, 2017
Extra Patrol Check – 12:29 a.m. – 4300 block of Larwin Ave. – The caller requested extra patrol checks of the residence due to a threatening email he received from a friend. The caller stated that no direct threats were made.
Counseling – 2:10 p.m. – 4300 block of Orange Ave. – Police were asked to speak to three students who were reportedly involved in sending inappropriate pictures via text messages. All subjects were under fourteen.
November 3, 2017
Counseling – 9:52 a.m. – 9400 block of Lime Cir. – The reporting party thought that the neighbors were now using sound amplification devices to play barking dog noises to further harass the reporting party. Counseled.
Patrol Check – 8:14 p.m. – 9500 block of Naples Dr. – The caller reported multiple vehicles in the neighborhood parked and blocking driveways and fire hydrants. It was determined that the hydrants were on private property and no vehicles were blocking driveways.
November 4, 2017
Counseling – 10:20 a.m. – 5700 block of Lincoln Ave. – The caller requested to speak to an officer regarding a transient camp that was set up to the rear of the location. The caller was concerned due to the transients smoking and possibly starting a fire so close to the business.
Patrol Check – 2:25 p.m. – 5100 block of Cumberland Dr. – The caller reported a bee hive on a City tree in front of the location. The hive was located in a Golden State Water Company man hole cover on City property. Incident referred to Golden State Water.
November 5, 2017
Hazard – 4:08 p.m. – 9200 block of Bloomfield – A large tree branch reportedly fell in lanes of traffic. The caller advised that vehicles were driving in opposing lanes to get around it. Public Works responded, and the tree was removed from the roadway.
Suspicious Subject – 8:56 p.m. – Holder/Orange – A male subject was reportedly recording the college track and the Holder Elementary School and kept walking back and forth. Subject checked okay and was determined to be a school photographer.
November 6, 2017
Suspicious Circumstances – 3:27 p.m. – 8100 block of Gay – The reporting party’s son called and said that the female next door neighbor broke into the reporting party’s residence. The son stated that the female subject was throwing glass at him. Medics were refused. Report taken.
Counseling – 4:37 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – A male employee reportedly put a recording device in the employee restroom. The caller desired prosecution and the suspect admitted to the crime in a written statement. Report taken.
November 7, 2017
Stray Animal – 10:42 a.m. – 10200 block of Moody St. – A pit bull was reportedly attacking the caller’s dog. The dog was now tied up to a bench. Message delivered to Animal Control.
Fraud Report – 1:00 p.m. – 5600 block of Plaza Dr. – Eleven checks were reportedly taken from the ledger and cashed. There was no suspect information.
November 8, 2017
Counseling – 11:02 a.m. – 9400 block of Danbury St. – The reporting party bought a vehicle of someone and the vehicle was not working properly. Counseled regarding a civil issue.
Counseling – 2:57 p.m. – 9800 block of Valley View St. – Two non-students reportedly came onto campus and lit two large fireworks, causing minor burn injuries to three students. Medics were refused. One subject was identified and a report was taken.
