A message from Blair Pietrini as Grateful Hearts rises to a new challenge.
We are truly thankful for all of our staff, customers, volunteers, community, and supporters!
We are really excited to let you know that we’re part of the Newman’s Own Foundation $500k Holiday Challenge! It’s a friendly fundraising campaign launched by Newman’s Own Foundation where 501(c)3 organizations compete to raise the most money with the top teams winning grand prize cash donations.
This campaign has just launched and is very important to us because…
…Grateful Hearts has been without a permanent home since April 2017, and we have finally found a new home!
But we need your financial help.
Making the new storehouse a reality
Our new storehouse, Lord willing, will be at 5420 Katella Ave., the former location of Ace Saw and Supply. We have a lot of work to do to prepare the space, and that will need money.
Please consider joining our team as a fundraiser in support of the new storehouse, and the Newman’s Own Foundation $500k Holiday Challenge. By setting up a campaign for our cause and reaching out to your network of supporters, you can help us make an even bigger impact!
Not able to organize a campaign? Make a simple donation! Every donation makes a difference.

About Grateful Hearts
Blair Pietrini founded Grateful Hearts nineteen years ago because she could not help someone, grieved that she could not help that person, and decided that she would not face that circumstance again.
She was one person. She has made a difference, locally and internationally. But she hasn’t done it alone.
Grateful Hearts embraces a food bank, a thrift store, a donation clearinghouse, an international missionary effort — and so much more.
For all that she has done, Blair will be recognized as Los Alamitos Citizen of the Year at the 2018 Americana Awards on Feb. 10.
But meantime, a lot remains to be done to get the organization moved into its new location. Please help!
