November 14, 2017
Illegally Parked Vehicle – 10:53 a.m. – Catalina/Chestnut- A resident requested a patrol check of the area for vehicles parked without the proper permits.
Counseling – 5:22 p.m. – 5000 block of Katella Ave. – A subject reportedly used several fraudulent credit cards to purchase approximately $72,026.24 worth of horse supplies from victim`s business. Victim had already contacted the bank, which had an ongoing investigation on the credit card charges. The victim stated that
bank was going to reimburse the money. Insufficient suspect info at this time. Log number given.
November 15, 2017
Transient – 8:14 a.m. – 3400 block of Katella Ave. – A customer reportedly advised the caller that a male subject was loitering in the parking lot and watching kids. Police were unable to locate the subject.
Patrol Check – 9:44 a.m. – 3600 block of Howard Ave. – A trash bin reportedly had something beeping inside. Police determined a fire alarm was in the trash and removed the battery.
November 16, 2017
Traffic Hazard – 3:45 p.m. – Katella/605 Fwy – The caller reported a subject possibly under the influence walking in lanes of traffic westbound on Katella under the freeway.
Patrol Check – 5:56 p.m. – Ball/Bloomfield –The caller reported a male driver in a dark gray Scion with tinted windows was tailgating the caller, almost clipped the caller’s vehicle, and made obscene gestures at the caller and his daughter.
November 17, 2017
Welfare Check – 11:33 a.m. – Los Alamitos/Florista – A female subject was reportedly walking in circles in and out of traffic and talking to herself. Assisted.
Suspicious Subject – 11:14 p.m. – Bunker Hill Dr. – A suspicious subject reportedly asked for directions to multiple places, including where the tennis courts “where the rich people go” was. Police were unable to locate the subject.
November 18, 2017
Counseling – 3:33 a.m. – 12000 block of Cherry St. – The caller stated that he was advised to call the police if there was another issue with the subject shining a light into the caller’s daughter’s window, and the subject was doing do. The resident at the location was provided with a Municipal Code printout and he stated that he would turn off the light and adjust the angle. Party advised and will comply.
Assist Outside Agency – 6:28 p.m. – 10000 block of Reagan St. – The reporting party’s 68-year-old sister was reportedly acting up. Family members and a caregiver were at the location. The subject scratched her arm trying to hit the reporting party with a hangar. The subject was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
