January 31, 2018
Fire – 8:42 a.m. – 6800 block of Walker St. – A fire was reported at the location. OCFA was advised and responded to put out the fire at a possible transient encampment. The City Engineer was contacted. Incident report taken.
Counseling – 6:52 p.m. – 5100 block of Banbury Cir. – The caller’s two sons, ages 15 and 12, reportedly got into a physical altercation. The caller requested that her 15-year-old son be counseled regarding the seriousness of physically fighting her younger son. No report desired. The caller and her children were advised to seek additional counseling from outside resources and were provided resource information. All parties counseled.
February 1, 2018
Disturbance (Family) – 5:21 a.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – The caller reported a family disturbance and stated her daughter pulled her hair. Dispatch could hear yelling in the background. Police made contact and a 15-year-old female subject was arrested for assault/battery and taken to Juvenile Hall.
Citizen Assist – 8:59 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A female subject called back and asked for assistance as she was cold and needed a place to stay. Medics were declined. Police made contact with the subject and determined there was no immediate emergency with the female. She was counseled regarding dialing 911.
Found Property – 10:32 p.m. – Walker/Byrne – A black wallet was found on Walker near Byrne. Police contacted the owner of the property and returned it.
February 2, 2018
Open Door – 9:09 p.m. – 4900 block of Malaga Dr. – Police responded to an open garage door and made contact with the homeowner, who was unaware of the open door and secured it.
Stake Out – 936 p.m. – 7800 block of Valley View St. – Following a stake out, police arrested a female subject on outstanding warrants and additional charges. Her vehicle was left legally parked per her request. The subject was booked and transported to Orange County Jail.
February 3, 2018
Suspicious Circumstances – 9:59 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller reported 10-15 gunshots in the area. Fireworks were seen in the area.
DUI – 11:31 p.m. – Valley View/Orangethorpe – Police performed a traffic stop and conducted a field sobriety test. The subject was arrested for misdemeanor DUI. The vehicle was towed from the scene and stored.
February 4, 2018
Counseling – 8:50 a.m. – 8200 block of Walker St. – The caller requested counseling regarding the caller’s son receiving e-cigarettes from a student. The mother was concerned that the son was smoking drugs. Subjects counseled.
February 5, 2018
Threats Report – 8:22 a.m. – 8200 block of Walker St. – A student reportedly received a threatening phone call over the weekend. The incident occurred in Anaheim, and the victim was advised to contact the Anaheim Police Department.
Disturbance – 7:19 p.m. – 7700 block of Walker St. – The reporting party advised that after a traffic dispute, the other party followed her home and got into a verbal argument. The reporting party was referred to the Buena Park Police Department if a report was desired.

Suspicious Circumstances – 10:26 a.m. – 5200 block of Banbury Cir. – The caller reported that an unknown bicycle was parked on the porch of the location. Police determined that the front door was locked and the outside checked okay.
Petty Theft Report – 7:52 p.m. – 8200 block of Santa Margarita Ln. – The caller reportedly had video surveillance of a subject stealing a package off a front porch. No report desired.
