St. Irenaeus Health Ministry invites you to a free community Health Fair on Sunday, November 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the St. Irenaeus Parish Hall, 5201 Evergreen Ave., Cypress. Come and see a variety of resources and information available in our area to meet the health needs of your whole family. Included at the event will be representatives from the Alzheimer’s Association, Orange County; NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), Visiting Angels, Diocese Whole Person Care, One Legacy, Cypress Police Department, Registered Dietician, Ask a Pharmacist, blood pressure checks and blood pressure information; 211; Providence Speech & Hearing; St. Irenaeus Health Ministry; Right At Home; Healing Touch; yoga and more!
St. Irenaeus’ newly hired Faith Community Nurse (FCN), Jennifer Dagarag, RN, is the organizer of this event. As a licensed RN, her role as our FCN within our parish is multi-faceted as she serves the parish as a personal health counselor, health educator, trainer of volunteers for home visitation, referral agent for health resources as well as a maintainer and developer of health support groups. As our FCN, she is able to assist families in navigation of the healthcare system. Jennifer will be partnering with nurses in our parish to expand the services available.
