October 25, 2018
Person Down – 7:45 a.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject was reportedly laying on the ground near the trash enclosure. Police contacted the subject, who was awake and sitting up. Party advised and will comply.
October 26, 2018
Traffic Stop – 1:16 a.m. – Orangethorpe/Centerpointe – Police conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, police searched the vehicle. The driver was issued two citations and the vehicle was released to a licensed driver. The male half had his driver’s license confiscated and was issued a DL 310.
Bike Stop – 10:59 a.m. – Moody/La Palma – Police conducted a bike stop and subsequently arrested a 34-year-old Anaheim resident for possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Warrant Arrest – 6:21 p.m. – Orangethorpe/91 Fwy. – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and arrested a 20-year-old Cerritos resident for false identification to a peace officer, driving without a license, and an outstanding warrant. The subject was transported to Orange County Jail and the vehicle was left legally parked.
October 27, 2018
Transient – 7:29 a.m. – La Palma/Walker – A subject was reportedly turning off pumps and harassing customers. The subject had been refused service at the location. The subject was advised regarding trespassing and would be getting on the next bus.
Lost/Stolen Property – 5:12 p.m. – 5000 block of Elben Dr. – The caller reported a lost or stolen pink slip for a vehicle. It was determined that the vehicle was not stolen or embezzled. The reporting party’s mother had it at the location on Elben.
October 28, 2018
Disturbance (Subject) – 5:50 p.m. – La Luna/El Pescador – Subjects were reportedly yelling and shouting at neighbors. Police were unable to locate the subjects.
Suspicious Subject – 11:29 p.m. – 7821 Walker St. (Central Park) – A cleaning crew reported that a subject was sleeping at the location. Police located a sleeping subject outside. A field interview was taken. Party advised and will comply.
October 29, 2018
Incident Report – 8:37 a.m. – 7821 Walker St. (La Palma Police Department) – The reporting party stated that the RP’s ex refused to give back the RP’s vehicle. Counseled.
Counseling – 3:57 p.m. – 8400 block of Kington Wy. – Donations valued at approximately $50 were reportedly stolen from in front of the residence. Report taken.
October 30, 2018
Traffic Collision – 8:19 a.m. – 8100 block of Walker St. – A traffic accident occurred on northbound Walker St. just south of La Luna. Medics were declined. One subject was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Traffic collision report taken.
Identity Theft Report – 9:53 a.m. – 5900 block of Priest Dr. – An unknown subject reportedly opened a T-Mobile account in the reporting party’s name. Report taken.
Extra Patrol Checks – 3:07 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – The caller requested extra patrol checks of the parking lot during after-school hours for parents double-parking and illegally parking in disabled parking spaces, and for students walking in the parking lot and not yielding to drivers.
October 31, 2018
Burglary Report – 6:23 a.m. – 8400 block of Walker St. – The business was reportedly ransacked overnight. The point of entry was a door smash. Police cleared the interior and took a report. The loss was approximately $300 in miscellaneous cash and approximately twenty packs of cigarettes.
Traffic Stop – 10:27 a.m. – 5500 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had collided with the center median with minor damage. The vehicle blew out the oil pan and was leaking oil. One subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a revoked or suspended license. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
