November 26, 2018
Traffic Stop – 10:41 a.m. – 5600 block of Orange Ave. – Police conducted a traffic stop and performed a vehicle search. One male subject was arrested for possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Petty Theft Report- 2:59 p.m. – 5600 block of San Simeon Dr. – The rear license plate was reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked on the street. A stolen plates report was taken.

Citizen Assist – 7:07 p.m. – 7792 Walker St. (La Palma Police Department) – A subject requested assistance with a dead vehicle battery in the parking lot. Assisted.
November 28, 2018
Transient – 9:10 a.m. – Coyote Creek – The caller reported a homeless camp set up on the east side of Coyote Creek between La Palma and Crescent, with human feces and discarded trash. Police contacted three males under the bridge. It was determined that the area was Cypress Police’s jurisdiction. The mess would be cleaned up.
Transient – 9:29 a.m. – Coyote Creek – Police contacted two more subjects and arrested a 47-year-old female for an outstanding warrant and theft of lost property.

Public Works Information – 11:53 a.m. – 7822 Walker St. (City Hall) – The flame was reportedly out at the torch and there was a strong smell of gas. Public Works advised.
Suspicious Subject – 3:53 a.m. – 4700 block of Sharon Dr. – An unknown subject was reportedly seen looking into the caller’s son’s vehicle. Police were unable to locate the subject.
November 30, 2018
Suspicious Subject – 1:09 p.m. – Walker/Fresca – An unknown subject was reportedly laying on the sidewalk. Police contacted the subject and conducted a field interview.
Counseling – 6:00 p.m. – 4700 block of Sharon Dr. – The caller stated that she gave her car and house keys to an unknown male and she was not sure why. Police attempted to contact the caller’s son as the story that she gave the keys to an unknown male did not make sense. The son advised that they’d lost the keys several times in the past and that he would be coming to the residence the following day to assist in looking for them. If the keys were not found, he would have the home and vehicle re-keyed.
December 1, 2018
Incident Report – 10:38 a.m. – Thelma/Furman – The caller’s dog was reportedly bitten by two leashed brown dogs. Police made contact and a report was taken. The parties waited for SEAACA to respond.
Health & Safety – 8:17 p.m. – 8400 block of Walker St. – The reporting party stated that he was being followed by two unknown males. Police were unable to get a sufficient description of the subjects or their vehicle. Police performed a consent search on the reporting party, who was subsequently arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substances.
December 2, 2018
Patrol Check – 5:10 a.m. – Pineridge/Crest – Approximately 20 tires were reportedly in the northwest corner of the location. Public Works notified.
Lost/Stolen License – 6:19 p.m. – 5200 block of Van Dyke Cir. – The reporting party reported a lost wallet containing a driver’s license, student ID card, credit card, and Costco card. The property was lost sometime between December 1 and the time of the report. It was determined that the loss did not occur in La Palma. The reporting party was directed to LASO-Walnut.
Fraud/Forgery Report – 11:28 p.m. – 7800 block of Kelly Cir. – The reporting party reportedly purchased items on CraigsList. Once payment was received, the seller blocked him and did not produce the items.
