On Friday, February 14 Orange County Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Michelle Steel will be joining Supervisor Don Wagner for a press event to present a new potential site for the long-awaited Veteran’s Cemetery for Orange County in Anaheim Hills.
“The Board of Supervisors transferred this land to the Cemetery District in 2018 to avoid disputes and create a veterans cemetery as soon as possible,” said Chairwoman Steel. “We are excited to show why it is the best location in the county to lay to rest our nation’s brave veterans, and to honor our allied veterans of the Korean War and Vietnam War.”
Chairwoman Steel and Supervisor Wagner will be joined by local veterans and media, and will take a tour across the site.
