September 7, 2020

Bicycle Theft – 12:19 p.m. – 5100 block of Marion – The victim’s bicycle was stolen between 08/29 and 09/04. The victim later located the bike for sale on OfferUp. Based on that information, police organized the shift, and posed as the victim to arrange a meeting with the suspect. Ultimately, two subjects arrived on scene, and police arrested
them for possession of stolen property and outstanding warrants. The bicycle was returned to the victim.
Residential Burglary – 6:52 p.m. – 10600 block of Beatrice St. – Unknown suspects stole two mountain bikes valued at $5000 from a garage. Occurred during the past 24 hours.
Petty Theft – 8:07 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – A female subject was arrested after she paid for items of a lesser value and left the store.

September 8, 2020

Stolen Vehicle – 5:08 a.m. – 4400 block of Casa Grande Cir. – Sometime between Friday and the time of call, the victim’s red, black, and white Suzuki GSXR was stolen from space by unknown suspects.
Suspicious Subject – 5:57 p.m. – 9200 block of Valley View St. – From a call for service regarding a suspicious person, a subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

September 9, 2020

Graffiti – 7:03 a.m. – 9100 block of Evergreen – Occurred overnight, an unknown suspect spray-painted “Theft Sicko” in blue paint on various locations on Evergreen.
Arrest – 7:04 p.m. – 6800 block of International Ave. – The same subject from the suspicious subject call the previous day was arrested for littering, obstructing/delaying an officer, and possession of methamphetamine.

September 10, 2020

Assist Outside Agency – 6:04 p.m. – Ball/Bloomfield – Officers assisted Los Alamitos Police in trying to apprehend three suspects who attempted to steal an ATM machine.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 9:50 a.m. – 6100 block of Lincoln Ave. – After a trailer carrying an off-road vehicle had been towed for a private party impound, it was discovered both vehicles were stolen out of Irvine.

September 11, 2020

Search Warrant – 6:00 a.m. – Bradbury/Vista Bonita (Los Alamitos) – The team assisted Los Alamitos and Seal Beach Police with the service of a search warrant by holding the perimeter.
Vehicle Burglary – 10:25 a.m. – 8700 block of Walker St. – Between 10 p.m. on Thursday and 8:30 a.m. the day of call, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s locked vehicle and ransacked it. The victim believed the suspect used a keyless remote and stole a debit card and check.

September 12, 2020

Grand Theft from Vehicle – 7:55 a.m. – 5600 block of Belle – At approximately 3:38 a.m., a male suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet, iPod and work badge, with a loss valued at $1180.
Shoplifting – 3:09 p.m. – 10000 block of Valley View St. – Two suspects were seen pushing a cart full of laundry soap out of the store and to a waiting vehicle.
Disturbance – 8:59 p.m. – 9100 block of Valley View St. – Numerous subjects were at the listed location causing a disturbance. An involved female was reported to have brandished a knife at a male subject during a verbal altercation. A female subject was arrested for brandishing a weapon (knife).

September 13, 2020

Occupied Vehicle Check – 7:28 a.m. – 4900 block of Lincoln Avenue – From a self-initiated occupied vehicle check, a male subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft – 2:28 p.m. – 5400 block of Katella Ave. – From a call for service of a theft in progress, police located the suspect vehicle fleeing and the driver failed to yield. A high-risk traffic stop was conducted at Winners Circle, north of Katella Avenue, with the assistance of Los Alamitos PD, Seal Beach PD, and OCSD K9s due to both subjects not complying with orders. After negotiation, two male subjects were arrested for grand theft, conspiracy, resisting arrest, evading, possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and counterfeit bills. Stolen/recovered property consisted of approximately $2000 in perfume and electronics.
