March 22, 2021

Catalytic Converter Theft – 8:38 a.m. – 11400 block of Shippigan Way – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s Toyota Prius.
Catalytic Converter Theft – 12:16 p.m. – 4500 block of Lincoln Ave. – Sometime between 3/16/21 and today’s date, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s 2007 Honda CRV.

March 23, 2021

Vehicle Burglary – 9:28 a.m. – 9600 block of Graham – Sometime Friday night (3/19), an unknown suspect broke into the victim’s vehicle by breaking the lock on the camper portion of the truck and stole miscellaneous tools.
Arrest – 1:41 p.m. – 5600 block of Lincoln Ave. – From a call for service, a subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a second subject was arrested for possession of narcotics and an unregistered “ghost gun” firearm.

March 24, 2021

Vehicle Burglary/Attempt Vehicle Theft – 7:06 a.m. – 11200 block of Jamaica – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect broke into the victim’s 2005 Chevy Silverado, attempted to steal it, and stole tools and an air compressor from the vehicle.
Catalytic Converter Theft – 7:16 a.m. – 5400 block of Rome – Sometime between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. today, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s 2003 Honda Accord.
Arrest – 8:03 a.m. – 6600 block of Southampton – From a call for service, two subjects were arrested. The first subject was arrested for felony warrants. The second subject was arrested for possession of stolen property (stolen vehicle). Both subjects were transported and booked at OCJ. The vehicle was recovered and removed from the SVS.

March 25, 2021

Vandalism – 10:32 a.m. – 5400 block of Myra Ave. – The reporting party called to report that between Monday and time of call, three rooms were entered without force, and ten computers were destroyed and the rooms were vandalized with graffiti. Victim possibly identified suspects via social media. The loss is approximated at $10,000.
Theft – 6:01 p.m. – 10200 block of Valley View St. – From a theft in progress, a male subject was arrested for shoplifting.

March 26, 2021

Traffic Collision – 3:35 p.m. – 6500 block of Orangewood Ave. – Three vehicles were involved in a collision with one of them ending up in Manzanita Park. No damage to the grass or park.
Disturbance (Juveniles) – 5:23 p.m. – 5900 block of Cathy – A large group of juveniles appeared to be forcing entry to a classroom with unknown intent. The group was contacted but the school official present could not identify any particular juvenile as being involved. No damage was located to the classroom or nearby area.

March 27, 2021

Trespassing – 7:10 a.m. – 11100 block of Holder – A subject was field interviewed after she created a disturbance with her employer. She was advised regarding trespassing and left toward Stanton. The subject was later contacted after creating another disturbance. She was advised there as well and left the area.
Suspicious Package – 3:03 p.m. – 5100 block of New Mexico- Los Alamitos Police conducted follow up regarding a suspicious package that originated in Los Alamitos. The reporting party brought home a package she received at work. She later called Los Alamitos PD when she deemed it suspicious. Orange County Bomb Squad responded to evaluate it and quickly revealed it to be court documents only.
Arrest – 6:27 p.m. – 5400 block of Katella Ave. – From a call for service regarding a male in the driver seat slumped over the steering wheel and possibly under the influence, a male subject was arrested for possession of fentanyl and possession of methamphetamine.
Vehicle Theft – 8:57 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – A delivery driver had his 2006 Audi A3 stolen while he was inside the restaurant. The vehicle was later recovered by Oceanside PD with a suspect in custody.

March 28, 2021

Missing Adult – 2:38 a.m. – 4500 block of Chelsea Ct. – A subject was reported missing. Approximately two hours later, the subject was located sleeping in an unlocked vehicle.
Incident – 5:22 a.m. – 4500 block of Chelsea Ct. – The wife of last night’s missing person called to report she was being held hostage by her husband. Officers arrived to hear the woman screaming for help inside. After forcing the door, the officers contacted both parties and no crime was found to have occurred.
