Robin Itzler
Robin Marlena Itzler has worked in some facet of marketing/communications since 1976 and currently works full time in the pet health insurance field. She and her husband own Royal Care Pet Sitting, where she also handles the marketing. Recognized for her marketing expertise, she originated and continues to author Market My Words, a regular column in Pet Sitters International's (PSI) "World" magazine. She is also the ‘Marketing Maven’ for the “Orange County Breeze,” the website for news about Northwest Orange County. Robin has spoken to groups as varied as pet sitters to small business owners. A former NASD licensed securities representative she once served as president of Orange County’s largest non-profit humane association. In 2010, Robin started Purrfect Bark, a public speaking program at her company. Focusing on communication, this year she founded Motivate Your Something. An officer in the Toastmasters Bre’ahs club where she broke club records earning various award levels, Robin founded Something Gained, a new Toastmasters club in Cypress.

Surfwriter Girls
Sunny Magdaug and Patti Kishel are Surfwriter Girls. Sunny grew up in Los Alamitos, CA., and loves Huntington Beach and Seal Beach. An environmentalist from an early age, she researched the ecology of the Newport Estuary for a high school Marine Biology class. A Communications graduate from CSU, Fullerton, who has been a sports reporter in the U.S. and Europe, Sunny enjoys putting her PR and journalism skills to use for the Surfrider Foundation. Patti grew up in Culver City, CA., near MGM Studios and camped and sailed on Catalina Island. With graduate degrees in film/Television and Business from UCLA and CSU, Long Beach, she’s worked in the entertainment industry. Patti writes business and fiction books with her husband Greg – How to Start, Run and Stay in Business and adventure/thriller Kona Heat. She teaches Management and Marketing at Cypress College and is a Surfrider Foundation volunteer.
