Drunk Driver – 10:15 a.m. – Los Alamitos/Katella – A vehicle occupied by three subjects was driving very erratically and the subjects inside the vehicle kept ducking down to the floor. Unable to locate.
Assault with a Deadly Weapon – 6:09 p.m. – 3500 block of Katella Ave. – A female caller said that she was stabbed by a female armed with a knife. Female subject arrested for corporal injury on a spouse.

March 18, 2016

Health & Safety Violation – 12:15 p.m. – 3701 Toland Ave. (Stansbury Park) – Juveniles reportedly pulled up, went to a table in the park, and were possibly smoking marijuana. No subjects were in the park and the vehicle was gone on the arrival of police.
Animal Information – 1:40 p.m. – 10900 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – Bees were reportedly swarming in the parking lot of the location. Unable to locate.

March 19, 2016

Suspicious Circumstances – 8:00 a.m. – 4300 block of Howard Ave. – The caller reported a dog barking in the apartments across from the caller’s residence. The resident fosters dogs, and it was unusual for them to be barking so long, and the caller was concerned that something was wrong with the resident. Police determined that the resident’s daughter left the window open and that was why the puppy could be heard. The homeowner was going to send her boyfriend to the residence to close the window.
Vandalism Report – 2:30 p.m. – 4700 block of Katella Ave. – A female subject was drunk and in the bathtub, which was overflowing, causing water damage. Maintenance was there attempting to talk to her, but she had not gotten dressed and come out. Assisted.

Disturbance (Subjects) – 10:08 p.m. – 10000 block of Walnut St. – A male and a female reportedly kept banging on the door of the residence before leaving on a motorcycle. The caller didn’t know if she knew them or not. They reportedly brought screwdrivers and things to remove the caller’s window.
Welfare Check – 10:42 p.m. – 11000 block of Noel St. – A male was reportedly laying on the grass. It was unknown if he was sleeping or needed assistance. The subject was transported home on Green.

Illegal Peddler – 8:40 a.m. – 4100 block of Cerritos Ave. – The school administration had a recent talk with students regarding the dress code. Over the weekend, flyers were posted and put in lockers regarding student rights to wear what they want. Counseled.
Burglary Report – 12:07 p.m. – 4000 block of Howard Ave. – The caller noticed multiple items missing from his apartment. Possible suspect was a 75-year-old female family friend who had been staying for the last 3-4 days at the location. The subject had a key. The day before, the caller had to call the police to have her removed from the residence, and the female mentioned that she would return to take more items. Estimated value of the loss was $5,510. The caller was advised to contact the police if she returns. Report taken.

Extra Patrol Check – 11:49 a.m. – Chestnut/Florista – The caller requested extra patrol checks at the location for vehicles blowing the stop sign to avoid rush hour traffic on Katella Ave. The caller stated that this was a daily occurrence.
Counseling – 7:45 p.m. – 10800 block of Bloomfield St. – The caller’s vehicle was towed from Bellflower for private party impound. The caller felt that they were charging her too much and questioned their authority. Assisted with a civil issue.

Citizen Assist – 11:16 a.m. – 11100 block of Enterprise Dr. – A mail carrier requested that units drive through the area due to a resident who was upset over a dog. The subject drove past the caller and yelled names.
Petty Theft Report – 2:38 p.m. – 4400 block of Katella Ave. – Two employees were caught stealing by overcharging customers.
