Citizen Assist – 7:32 p.m. – 6900 block of Walker St. – The caller requested assistance with being locked out of a vehicle. Police made contact and were able to unlock the vehicle.
Citizen Assist – 7:40 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller requested to speak with an officer regarding a billing issue with a telecommunications company.
December 14, 2018
Suspicious Vehicle – 3:59 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – Two subjects were reportedly smoking drugs and drinking in a vehicle. Police made contact. The female was advised on an outstanding warrant.
Suspicious Vehicle – 8:50 p.m. – 8200 block of Wickham Ln. – The caller reported a suspicious subject in a vehicle. When asked what he was doing, the subject stated “nothing” and drove away.
December 15, 2018
Foot Patrol – 2:40 a.m. – Coyote Creek – While on foot patrol, police contacted three subjects. One subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant. The subject’s property was left with the other subjects per his request and the subject was transported to Orange County Jail.
Public Works Information – 1:07 p.m. – 5000 block of Pine Cir. – Water had reportedly been leaking from the meter for approximately two months.

Suspicious Vehicle – 11:49 p.m. – 5000 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – Police investigated a suspicious occupied vehicle. The subject checked okay and was taking a nap from a road trip.

Burglary Report – 12:50 p.m. – 8200 block of Bellhaven St. – A burglary reportedly occurred the previous Thursday evening. The loss included an iPad, FitBit Watch, a lottery book, and two $50 gift cards. Burglary report taken.
Suspicious Subject – 10:12 p.m. – 8000 block of Woodglen Cir. – A male subject dressed in dark clothing was reportedly sitting under the street light for the past thirty minutes. Police contacted the subject, who was determined to be a Parkwest resident out for a walk.

Petty Theft Report – 3:33 p.m. – 5300 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller reported a theft from a possibly unlocked vehicle. The loss included vehicle registration, an auto loan contract, miscellaneous documents, and possibly gift cards. Report taken.
Fraud/Forgery – 7:30 p.m. – 5000 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – Two females reportedly purchased apple pies fraudulently. The subjects had done similar transactions at other locations. Police were unable to determine if a crime occurred.

Harassing Phone Calls – 3:09 p.m. – 4500 block of Sharon Dr. – The reporting party reported receiving numerous annoying/harassing phone calls, possibly a scam, throughout the day. Counseled.
Citizen Assist – 4:32 p.m. – La Palma/Walker – A blind subject at a bus stop reportedly needed assistance finding his direction. The subject’s sister arrived to take him home.
