December 14, 2018

Burglary – 1:37 a.m. – 5300 block of Lincoln Ave. – The caller reported seeing a male subject inside the location ten minutes prior. The point of entry was a smashed window. The subject fled northbound to the old railroad tracks. Police cleared the inside of the business and one subject was detained. The subject was positively identified in a field show-up. The subject was arrested for burglary and possession of burglary tools.
Counseling – 9:50 a.m. – 5500 block of Camp St. – The reporting party requested counseling regarding a possible civil matter regarding installations of video cameras at the reporting party’s residence.

December 15, 2018

Found Property – 12:58 p.m. – 9600 block of Salisbury Ln. – The reporting party reportedly found money in a plastic while out on a walk in his neighborhood. Report taken.
Traffic Stop – 11:42 p.m. – Lincoln/Walker – Police conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested two subjects on drug charges.

December 17, 2018

Keep the Peace – 5300 block of Lincoln Ave. – A customer was reportedly upset over work done and was refusing to pay. Advised on small claims court.
Petty Theft Report – 6:09 p.m. – 5700 block of Orange Ave. – A package containing two hoodie sweatshirts for children valued at $45 was reportedly stolen. Counseled.

December 18, 2018

Pedestrian Check – 12:06 a.m. – Sumner/Merten – Police contacted pedestrians, one of whom was a juvenile missing from a Placentia group home. One subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Hazard – 7:51 a.m. – Larwin/Ball – A tree reportedly fell on a vehicle occupied by a female and a child. OCFA responded and a tow truck was requested. Public Works responded and CSI photos were taken.

December 19, 2018

Disturbance (Subject) – 5:36 p.m. – 5400 block of Katella Ave. – A customer reportedly threw a glass at an employee and threatened to assault her. The subject was gone on the arrival of police.
Fire – 6:21 p.m. – 9600 block of Lawrence Dr. – Swimming pool equipment was reportedly on fire in the backyard. OCFA responded to the location.

December 20, 2018

Burglary – 7:29 p.m. – 6900 block of Katella Ave. – A male subject reportedly stole four cell phones from the location, for a total loss of $4000. No vehicle was seen and no one else was with the subject. Police were unable to locate the subject. Report taken.
Robbery – 11:04 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – A suspect reportedly pushed the caller and took off with cosmetics. A male and a female subject were involved in the incident. Report taken.
