“I have been honored to serve the taxpayers of Orange County over the past four years,” Woolery said. He added, “I look forward to leading our team of taxpayer watchdogs as we continue to serve the citizens of this great County.”
Woolery was re-elected in June 2018 with nearly 75% of the vote. Prior to becoming Auditor-Controller Woolery previously served as Treasurer of the City of Orange and as Deputy Director of Administration at the Riverside County District Attorney.
In attendance at today’s ceremony were Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, Supervisor-Elect Doug Chaffee, Treasurer-Tax Collector Shari Freidenrich, Clerk-Recorder Hugh Nguyen, Irvine Mayor Donald Wagner, Irvine City Councilman Anthony Kuo, Laguna Beach City Treasurer Laura Parisi, and many auditor-controller employees.
