From the birth of Rock and Roll in the 1940s, through the glory years of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s, to the MTV craze of the ’80s, Neil Berg takes audiences on a wild ride to the birth of Rock and its eventual profound effect on musical history and landscape.

In NEIL BERG’S 50 YEARS OF ROCK & ROLL, audiences are treated to little-known stories about the Rock & Roll movement and rockin’ performances of classics such as Chuck Berry’s Johnny B. Goode; Little Richard’s Tutti Frutti; Elvis Presley’s Hound Dog; Simon and Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water; and hits of The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, Bruce Springsteen, and many more.

Berg is the composer and co-lyricist of the award-winning Rock musical The 12, written with Tony-winning playwright and Pulitzer Prize honoree Robert Schenkkan. Berg’s other shows include the hit Off-Broadway musical The Prince and the Pauper, the Broadway-bound musical Grumpy Old Men, and The Man Who Would Be King.
