The City of Orange Hearing Loss Association of America chapter will welcome a four-legged guest at its Saturday, February 2, 2019 morning meeting. Jennifer Dentino, an instructor at two training facilities (Jump Start and Courteous Canines) will share her wealth of experience in canine training, including training deaf dogs – her deaf dog Kaos will be with her. The two-hour meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. at Marie Callendar’s Restaurant (1821 N. Grand Avenue in Santa Ana). There is no charge to attend, but an optional $3 donation is encouraged to help cover costs (room rental and real-time captioning). Following the informative meeting and to allow socializing with those who have hearing loss issues, members are invited to remain at the restaurant for a no-host lunch.
