January 10, 2019

Incident Report – 4:54 p.m. – 11200 block of Knott Ave. – Thirty tablets of hyrdomorphone were reportedly missing from the pharmacy. The tablets were with a delivery driver who claimed that he delivered the medication to a facility, however no signature was obtained. Assisted.
Suspicious Circumstances – 5:44 p.m. – Grindlay/Evergreen – A vehicle in a driveway reportedly had a trunk open, and another vehicle was halfway in the same driveway. The reporting party didn’t see anyone in either vehicle and was concerned that the driver of the second vehicle was going to burglarize the vehicle in the driveway. Unable to locate.

January 11, 2019

Grand Theft Report – 9:26 a.m. – 5200 block of Lincoln Ave. – All four tires were reportedly taken off the caller’s vehicle. The loss was valued at $2100. Prosecution desired. Report taken.
Disturbance (Juveniles) – 3:17 p.m. – Cynthia/Saint Alban – Three juveniles were reportedly on the room of the abandoned school with scooters. The juveniles were warned and advised.

January 12, 2019

Suspicious Subject – 5:12 p.m. – 5100 block of Cerritos Ave. – A female subject was reportedly in the toy house in the rear parking lot. The female was advised regarding trespassing and left the area.
Suspicious Property – 6:59 p.m. – Walker/Bishop – The caller reported a suspicious backpack in front of a fire hydrant. Police were unable to locate the property.

January 13, 2019

Counseling – 11:04 a.m. – 9600 block of Lawrence Dr. – The call stated that he rents a room and his landlord took a heater from his room. Counseled.
Water Problem – 10:31 p.m. – 10200 block of Moody St. – Sprinklers were possibly left on at the location and a large amount of water was going into the street. Message left for Public Works.

January 14, 2019

Drunk – 1:33 a.m. – Delong/Walker – A rideshare driver requested assistance for a drunk teen in his vehicle. Police made contact and requested paramedics respond for the heavily-intoxicated male. Assisted.
Area Check – 11:06 a.m. – 4700 block of Larwin Ave. – The caller reported her vehicle stolen to another department and it had a GPS on it at the location. Police located the vehicle and discovered the key in the pocket of a subject on the 4700 block of Larwin. The subject was taken into custody and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

January 15, 2019

Extra Patrol Checks – 8:07 a.m. – Undisclosed location – The caller requested extra patrol checks due to condom wrappers being left on the street, an ongoing issue for the past month.
Fraud Report – 1:36 p.m. – 6600 block of Katella Ave. – An unknown suspect was reportedly using the company’s FedEx account to send out fake checks. Report taken.
