If your goals for 2019 include meeting new people, getting more involved in your community or having fun, the Kiwanis Club of Cypress can help you! Kiwanis is an international organization dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time.
The Kiwanis Club of Cypress holds pancake breakfasts throughout the year to help organizations such as Cadette Troop 2800 and the Cypress Centurion Imperial Brigade raise funds. They serve pancakes at the opening day for baseball and softball, at Sharing is Caring, and at the Cypress Festival. If you’ve ever been to one of the Cypress Concerts on the Green, you’ve seen members of Kiwanis making hot dogs and hamburgers.
Kiwanis donates books to the local schools, sponsors speech and debate teams at Lexington and Cypress High School and gives out scholarships to students at local high schools and Cypress College.
The Kiwanis Club of Cypress meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the Boys & Girls Club of Cypress located at 10161 Moody Street, Cypress. Come by and meet us and see how we can help you achieve your 2019
goals. For more information, please contact Karl Dash at 714-206-6517.
