Radio personality Mark Larson (AM 760 KFMB weekdays 10 a.m. to noon) is the featured speaker on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019 at the Long Beach Republican Women Federated breakfast meeting. Held at the conveniently located Long Beach Airport Marriott (4700 Airport Plaza Drive), the morning meeting includes information critical to Republicans who want to Make California Great Again. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with breakfast served at 9:30 a.m. The cost is just $30 per member and $35 for non-members – includes free parking and a delicious plated breakfast.
A strong advocate for the United States military, Larson is a lifetime member of the Navy League among several other military supporting organizations. He is known for traveling the world to gain insight on important stories such as covering the Iraq War on location and smuggling Bibles to underground churches in Southeast Asia. He has also done ground-breaking broadcasts from war zones including the Persian Gulf region and Afghanistan.
“Mark’s on-site broadcasts throughout the United States and all over the world have given him a unique perspective on current events,” said Long Beach Republican Women Federated President Linda MacDonald. “When you look at what is happening today, it is imperative that we fully understand the local and global implications.”
In continuing to offer exceptional speakers at its meetings, VP Programs Maryann von der Horst added, “Radio & Records have twice named Mark Larson on its ‘All-Star Players’ list, citing him as one of only 12 local legends in American talk radio. This is quite an accomplishment when you look at the famed talk radio hosts broadcasting today.”
In addition to Mark Larson’s informative presentation, the breakfast meeting offers like-minded women and men an opportunity to learn more about Republican Women Federated and how they can be part of America’s largest grassroots organization. For information and reservations:
