January 24, 2019

Counseling – 5:18 p.m. – 5700 block of Cathy Ln. – The reporting party reportedly received a phone call from a private caller in the early morning hours. The male subject said sexual things to the reporting party. The reporting party thought it was possibly her neighbor with whom she had been having problems.
Disturbance (Subject) – 5:31 p.m. – 4500 block of Blanca Dr. – A subject was reportedly yelling and screaming in front of the location. Police were unable to locate the subject.

January 25, 2019

Vehicle Burglary – 7:21 a.m. – 4300 block of Dina Ct. – An unknown subject reportedly smashed the passenger side window of the vehicle and stole the caller’s daughter’s backpack sometime overnight. Report taken.
Grand Theft Report – 5700 block of Lincoln Ave. – The caller’s laptop was reporteldy stolen from a storage facility a few weeks prior, and the caller just saw it listed on Offer Up. The laptop was worth about $1000. One subject arrested for possession of stolen property.

January 26, 2019

Traffic Hazard – 6:38 a.m. – Moody/Ball – A Christmas tree was reportedly in the lanes. The tree was moved into the center median. Message delivered to Public Works.
Suspicious Circumstances – 11:07 p.m. – 10600 block of Lynn Cir. – An unknown subject was reportedly attempting to open the caller’s security screen. The subject stated that he was there with pizza. The caller denied ordering pizza. Police contacted the subject, who was determined to be delivering pizza and checked okay.

January 27, 2019

Assist Outside Agency – 5700 block of Lincoln Ave. – A male subject was reportedly stuck in the restroom. It was determined that there was no medical problem, the male was just stuck. Assisted.
Disturbance – 11:48 p.m. – Undisclosed location – A male subject reportedly told the caller that he had a gun and pushed the caller. There was reportedly a disturbance over the male’s music video. One subject was detained at gunpoint. Police determined that there was mutual assault/battery. No prosecution desired.

January 28, 2019

Assist Outside Agency – 11:23 a.m. – Katella/Siboney – A male subject was reportedly seen stumbling before he fell and hit his face on the curb. The subject was possibly drunk. The subject was sent home in a cab.
Counseling – 3:27 p.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield Ave. – The caller was reportedly 14 years old and being bullied via text. Counseled.

January 30, 2019

Fraud Report – 7:54 p.m. – 5200 block of Cumberland Dr. – Unknown suspects reportedly posed as Apple employees, stating the reporting party’s account was hacked. The reporting party drove around various business buying $8000 in gift cards and gave the suspects the numbers and PIN codes to.
Disturbance (Subject) – 11:00 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – A subject was reportedly creating a disturbance with other customers in the business. Police were unable to locate the subject.
