Twelve new members join Garden Grove Elks Lodge

Garden Grove Elks Lodge #1952 recognized twelve new members recently. See photographic evidence at the bottom of this article!

Joanne Galvan, celebrating another 39th birthday, rented a room at the Elks Lodge to throw a party. If you have a private event coming up and you’re an Elks Club member, you too can rent a room at the Elks Lodge. The Lodge is located at 11551 Trask Ave. just east of Newhope Street in Garden Grove.

Everything is not all formal ritual (or private parties) with the Elks! The fifth Thursday of the month (if there is one) is “Fun Night” when Members can play cards, shoot pool, play shuffle board, throw darts, or just relax among friends while talking and sipping libations.

Fun came early in January for Super Bowl Sunday, when Members threw a party and enjoyed a marvelous buffet while watching the Los Angeles Rams not quite beat the New England Patriots.

As a warm-up for the football festivities, members enjoyed the mellow voice of Terry Brent, who staged a one-man four-hour show the night before!
