February 4, 2019

Citizen Assist – 5:16 p.m. – La Palma/Walker – A juvenile requested a bus bass to get home to Anaheim. A bus pass was provided.
Municipal Code Violation – 10:29 p.m. – 7800 block of Valley View St. – The caller complained regarding construction noise at the location. Police contacted the responsible party, who was advised of the municipal code and would take the construction inside.

February 5, 2019

Traffic Stop – 10:37 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Valley View – Police conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 40-year-old Los Angeles resident for defective lighting devices, an outstanding misdemeanor warrant, and driving on a suspended/revoked license.
Pedestrian Check – 1:06 p.m. – 7792 Walker St. (La Palma Police Department) – Police contacted two subjects in front of the Police Department. After a search, a 38-year-old Cerritos resident was arrested on outstanding warrants.

February 6, 2019

Disturbance (Subject) – 9:24 a.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject possibly urinated in front of the business as well as possibly asking customers to purchase alcohol for him. One subject arrested on outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
Robbery Report – 5:04 p.m. – 8100 block of Walker St. – A suspect reportedly hit the back of the victim’s legs, causing her to bend forward. The suspect then took a cellphone from the victim’s pocket. Report taken. One subject was arrested for robbery.

February 7, 2019

Health & Safety – 11:00 p.m. – 5300 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – Police conducted a search and arrested a 30-year-old Bakersfield resident for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Assist Other Department – 9:11 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – OCFA responded to the location for the smell of gas. OCFA advised that the levels were higher than normal and evacuated the store as a precaution. OCFA located the source as the HVAC or AC on the roof. OCFA used fans to blow out the store. The store manager would contact and emergency HVAC crew to repair the leak.

February 8, 2019

Burglary Report – 1:11 p.m. – 7400 block of Brian Ln. – A vehicle was reportedly ransacked while parked in the driveway. The loss was two bags of change of approximately $150. Report taken.
Traffic Stop – 10:57 p.m. – Moody/La Palma – Police conducted a traffic stop on Dodge Charger with paper plates. Following a consent search, police arrested a 23-year-old Huntington Beach resident for possession of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding felony warrant.

February 9, 2019

Transient – 8:25 a.m. – 8100 block of Walker St. – A transient was reportedly sleeping near the elevator. Police made contact and arrested a 28-year-old subject for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
Vandalism Report – 9:18 a.m. – 4900 block of Partridge Cir. – The caller reported white graffiti on the brick wall behind the residence. Report taken.

February 10, 2019

Court Order Violation Report – 7:00 p.m. – 7700 block of Walker St. – A grandfather alleged that the grandson stated that the father had a real gun in the vehicle. After a consent search from the father, officers located a blue Nerf toy gun inside the vehicle.
Animal Call – 11:31 p.m. – 4800 block of Embassy Cir. – The caller advised that he heard a kitten crying. The caller located the kitten but did not know what to do. The caller was advised to call SEAACA and was provided the number.
Petty Theft – 1:00 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject reportedly attempted to steal $300 worth of food. Loss Prevention detained the subject. Police arrested a 32-year-old Garden Grove resident for petty theft.
