Rep. Harley Rouda, Chairman of the Environment Subcommittee of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, issued the following statement on the Committee’s report on the Transfer of Sensitive U.S. Technology to Saudi Arabia.
“This report raises deep concerns that the White House and those connected to it could be taking advantage of internal chaos to line their pockets at the expense of national security and global stability– nuclear proliferation mistakes cannot be undone. We must shed more the light on truth on this administration’s relationship with Saudi Arabia, and the Oversight Committee will be investigating this matter.”
This statement comes in response to a report released by Chairman Cummings after multiple whistleblowers came forward to warn of possible conflicts of interest among key aides in the White House. The report reveals that White House advisors—including Michael Flynn and Jared Kushner—were, and possibly still are, working to rush the transfer of highly sensitive U.S. nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia.
The Oversight Committee is sending multiple requests for documents and testimony to various parties involved to ensure that our policies protect the United States, rather than serve to further enrich the Trump Administration. These requests aim to eradicate the veil of secrecy enshrouding the administration’s relationship with Saudi Arabia.

What about the 20% of our uranium resources Hillary sold to Russia? What are you doing about the 1,000s of migrants rushing our Southern border? In Orange County, we are drowning in migrants…the Democrats are only interested in resisting the President.
