February 15, 2019
Suspicious Circumstances – 2:09 p.m. – 11000 block of Pine St. – Subjects were reportedly at a neighbor’s residence and left in a white van. The van had a sliding door on the passenger van. Police located an Amazon van on Reagan delivering packages. A package was left on the door step of the location.
Petty Theft – 9:03 p.m. – 12000 block of Seal Beach Blvd. – A suspect in a gray Infiniti reportedly used something to cut out an iPhone XR. The caller was not sure if they got the loss or not. The caller attempted to stop the vehicle. Police were unable to locate the subjects. Assisted.
February 16, 2019
Counseling – 9:09 a.m. – 4100 block of Green Ave. – The caller stated that unknown suspects broke into his house while he was gone for approximately 20 minutes. The caller made comments that the police were there the day before taking pictures. There was no record of the prior call. Advised.
Animal Information – 2:12 p.m. – Katella/Cherry – A large white shepherd with a collar was reportedly seen crossing Katella eastbound. Animal Control notified. Police were unable to locate the dog.
February 17, 2019
Battery – 1:07 a.m. – 11000 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – The caller stated that he was arguing with the barback and then said something to the owner and was subsequently rushed by a bunch of guys who pulled his shirt over his head. The caller said that he was punched while his shirt was over his head but suffered no injuries. The owner of the bar stated that the customer was unruly and said something out of line to her, and her employees kicked the reporting party out of the bar. The owner said that the customer was already kicked out of the business. No prosecution was desired by the reporting party as he could not identify an assailant. He was also heavily intoxicated.
Traffic Collision – 1:06 p.m. – Katella/Civic Center – A driver reportedly made an illegal U-turn and caused the reporting party to strike his vehicle. The caller requested that names be exchanged as the driver was elderly and seemed confused. Assisted.

Disturbance (Subject) – 11:34 a.m. – 4400 block of Howard Ave. – A subject was reportedly walking her dog and did not pick up the droppings. The caller attempted to detain the female. Counseled.
February 19, 2019
Fraud Report – 9:02 a.m. – 3600 block of Serpentine Dr. – The caller stated that a fictitious check was created with the company name and cashed at an unknown location. The caller’s company did not have a loss because the check was fictitious. The company received a letter from a collection company that represented the location where the check was cashed. The caller told the agency that they had no loss and the check did not belong to them. A log item was requested to give to the collection agency and for insurance purposes.
Counseling – 11:44 a.m. – 11000 block of Noel St. – The reporting party stated that she was being harassed and had been receiving phone calls from a subject she met at church. She also stated that an unknown subject opened a CVS rewards card under her name and that it was ruining her credit. Police advised her that credit was not connected to the CVS rewards card and no items can be purchased through it and it cannot ruin her credit. She then stated that she receives voicemails that she has an unsecured credit line. Police were unable to identify who left a voicemail. Police advised her to contact her bank regarding her credit line being unsecured. Log item issued.
Suspicious Vehicle – 11:25 p.m. – 3800 block of Katella Ave. – After investigating a suspicious occupied vehicle, police arrested a male subject for outstanding felony warrants

Counseling – 1:38 p.m. – 10000 block of Bloomfield St. – The caller claimed that his vehicle was intentionally damaged by the tow company after the vehicle was towed. The caller was counseled regarding the civil process.
February 21, 2019
Transient – 8:43 a.m. – 10000 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – A female subject was reportedly sleeping in front of the business. The subject was counseled regarding sleeping on private property and was asked to leave.
Traffic Hazard – 12:02 p.m. – Katella/Los Alamitos – A female pedestrian was reportedly in the road. The subject was advised to stay out of the street. Resources were refused.
