February 11, 2019

Petty Theft Report – 9:19 a.m. – 7400 block of Brian Ln. – Tools were reportedly stolen from an unlocked truck bed overnight. Police determined that the reporting party was unsure if the tools were stolen or at work and would call back later after an inventory of the tools was taken. No report taken at this time.
Welfare Check – 1:16 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Walker – Police conducted a welfare check on a subject reportedly possibly sleeping at a bus stop since 7:50 a.m. OCFA was requested to respond for complaints of stomach pain. The subject was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

February 12, 2019

Brandishing a Weapon – 5:21 p.m. – Iris/Rose – A suspicious subject wearing a black mask was reportedly hitting/cutting bushes with a sword. Police located a subject matching the description. The subject was cooperative and checked okay; he advised that he was chopping bushes in the yard.
Grand Theft Report – 9:40 p.m. – 4900 block of La Palma Ave. – The caller reported that a purse was stolen from a vehicle. The loss included the purse, wallet, driver’s license, $200 cash, credit cards, business cards, iPhone 8 Plus, and a blue jacket. Report taken.

February 13, 2019

Counseling – 2:39 p.m. – 7792 Walker St. (Police Department) – The caller requested to speak with an officer regarding possibly being tracked on cellphone. No crime at this time.
Disturbance (Juveniles) – 6:09 p.m. – 7800 block of Walker St. – A group of juveniles was reportedly skateboarding in the parking structure. Party advised and will comply.

February 14, 2019

Assist Outside Department – 8:36 a.m. – 8000 block of Walker St. – An electrical panel was reportedly smoking and sparking. OCFA responded and the electrical panel was shut off.
Patrol Check – 6:31 p.m. – 7822 Walker St. (City Hall) – Several flower beds were flooded with debris in the walkways.

February 15, 2019

Counseling – 10:36 a.m. – Undisclosed location – The caller requested to speak with an officer regarding harassment towards an employee. A graphic balloon was reportedly tied outside of the building with the employee’s name on it. The employee was not at the location and was not aware of the situation. Security photographed the balloon and threw it away. It was unknown who left the balloon. Counseled.
Vandalism – 7:25 p.m. – La Palma/Walker – The caller’s ex-boyfriend reportedly smashed the caller’s car window. Police were unable to locate the subject.

February 16, 2019

Vehicle Burglary Report – 11:29 a.m. – 4700 block of El Rancho Verde Dr. – The caller reported a burglary from a locked vehicle parked on the street overnight.
Traffic Stop – 9:25 p.m. – 5900 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – Police conducted a traffic stop and performed a consent search. A 22-year-old Anaheim resident was arrested for possession of controlled substances, driving without a license, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A 20-year-old Anaheim resident was arrested for possession of controlled substances.

February 17, 2019

Welfare Check – 8:34 a.m. – 5000 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A customer was reportedly paying for food but not taking the food. The subject had driven through approximately five times.
Lost/Stolen Property – 5:16 p.m. – 5900 block of La Palma Ave. – A wallet containing a driver’s license and bank cards was reportedly left at an ATM thirty minutes prior to the time of the call. Report taken.

February 18, 2019

Pedestrian Check – 8:51 a.m. – Centerpointe – Police conducted a pedestrian check and arrested a 40-year-old Los Angeles resident for an outstanding warrant.
Suspicious Vehicles – 2:50 p.m. – 4900 block of La Palma Ave. – Two vans were reportedly parked in the alley behind the vacant building. The vehicles checked okay and belonged tot he owner of a nearby business.
