Veterans’ Employment-Related Assistant Program (VEAP) services offer job training, assistance to veterans

Many veterans separated from active duty within the last 48 months have upgraded their skills with the Veterans’ Employment-Related Assistant Program (VEAP) through a grant from EDD to Orange County One-Stop Center.

Train to obtain employment in exciting industries including healthcare, government, education, and professional and business services.

VEAP services include:

  • Short-term vocational training or on-the-job training
  • Assistance with transitioning from military to civilian employment
  • Assessment of skills and interest
  • Career guidance and exploration
  • Job skill development (i.e. interview preparation, resume development, networking)
  • Job placement assistance
  • Follow-up services to facilitate job retention
