Republican Don Sedgwick announces candidacy for Congress in CA-45

Small business owner and Laguna Hills Council Member Don Sedgwick launched his campaign for Congress in Orange County’s 45th district. The campaign released its first Ad offering voters a clear look into Sedgwick’s Conservative plan to fight for our veterans, end dangerous sanctuary cities, stand with Orange County taxpayers and work towards bettering our children’s future.

Sedgwick gave the following statement, “Voters deserve a candidate who will put their values first – solving veteran homelessness, strengthening our military, and fighting to keep us safe and I am proud to be running to be the next Congressman in California’s 45th District.”

Sedgwick continued, “Orange County is fed up with California’s lax public safety laws that threaten our neighborhoods. I promise to crack down on Sacramento’s out-of-control policies. I won’t let radical liberals dismantle our way of life or infringe our constitutional rights.”

Chief Strategist for the Sedgwick for Congress campaign, John Thomas said, “It’s clear Republicans want to send a Conservative fighter to Washington. With a lifetime of work for Orange County families as a small business owner, community leader and father, Don Sedgwick is that fighter. We look forward to restoring trust and bringing a strong Conservative agenda to Congress to support hard-working American families.”

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has listed California’s 45th Congressional District as a top targeted House seat to flip from blue to red:
