The dig is on for Easter eggs at Garden Grove’s Eggs-cavation

It’s that time of year for Garden Grove’s annual “Eggs-cavation” event on Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Atlantis Play Center. Atlantis Play Center is located at 13630 Atlantis Way in Garden Grove Park. Only 300 tickets for egg hunt participants are available.

In addition to egg hunts, activities at the event include inflatable bouncers, carnival games, arts and crafts, animal balloons, airbrushed tattoos, and picture swith the Easter Bunny. The egg hunts begin and take place by the following age groups:

  • 3 to 4 years old – 1:45 p.m.
  • 5 to 6 years old – 2:15 p.m.
  • 7 to 8 years old – 2:45 p.m.
  • 9 to 10 years old – 3:15 p.m.

Raffle prizes will take place after each egg hunt. Candy grabs for 2-year-olds and under will be held at 1:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for children, ages 3 to 10, participating in the egg hunt, and $2 for spectators, ages 11 and up. There will be no ticket sales at the door.

Ticket sales for the Eggs-cavation begin Monday, March 25, 2019, until quantities run out. Tickets may be purchased at the Recreation Counter, located on the 1st floor of Garden Grove City Hall, at 11222 Acacia Parkway. To order by
