Traffic Stop – 3:05 p.m. – Walker/Lincoln – Following a traffic stop, police arrested a female subject on two outstanding warrants out of LASO Lakewood for Vehicle Code violations and an additional charge of possession of methamphetamine.
Counseling – 3:37 p.m. – 9800 block of Valley View St. – The reporting party reportedly received an inappropriate letter from the dean of another school addressed to a student at the reporting party’s school. Report taken.
March 22, 2019
Battery – 3:44 p.m. – Knott/Patterson – A male subject reportedly threw a female subject to the ground. Police contacted a bunch of juveniles who were play-fighting and determined that there was no crime. The juveniles were counseled and notebook information was taken.
Disturbance – 3:59 p.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield Ave. – Several people reportedly heard a disturbance inside the residence for the past hour. The reporting party stated that it sounded like a physical fight at the time of the call. All parties were detained. One subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Suspicious Circumstances – 3:43 a.m. – 6000 block of Lime Ave. – The caller reported hearing a drill to the rear of the residences and thought that someone was trying to get into a neighbor’s garage. The caller looked out but did not see anything suspicious. It was determined that the noise was a malfunctioning vehicle stereo.
Fire – 3:39 p.m. – 5900 block of Lincoln Ave. – The caller reported a fire to the rear of the business. It was determined that a shopping cart full of items was on fire. The rubbish fire was handled by OCFA.

Theft Report – 1:59 p.m. – 6900 block of Jonathan Ave. – The reporting party had video of a subject stealing a package from the front porch.
Burglary Report – 6:42 p.m. – 5500 block of Crescent Ave. – The caller reported that the lock to the garage had been cut between 5:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. that day. The loss was a pressure washer valued at $300. The caller desired prosecution and could identify the pressure washer. Report taken.
March 25, 2019
Disturbance – 7:33 p.m. – 9200 block of Valley View St. – Security at the location detained a subject who had a knife. The subject was cooperative with Security, who took the knife. The subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
Burglary – 8:51 p.m. – 5700 block of Playa Wy. – The caller reported that someone came into her garage, which has access to the house. The caller did not see anyone and only heard noise. The caller then advised everything was okay and that it was a daughter that they were not expecting. Incident unfounded.

Petty Theft – 5:32 p.m. – 5000 block of Ball Rd. – A subject reportedly used a crowbar to break into a cash register. The loss was $45.05 from the register. Video surveillance would be available at a later time.
Disturbance (Subject) – 4000 block of Ball Rd. – A male subject reportedly tried to buy alcohol and was refused because he had already bought too much. The manager just wanted the subject to leave.

Keep the Peace – 12:06 a.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield St. – The caller reportedly purchased a shredder on OfferUp, and the item was not brand new or in a box as specified in the listing, so the caller wanted his money back. Counseled.
Area Check – 12:49 a.m. – 5000 block of Sequoia Ave. – The caller reportedly heard a male voice out front saying “Help me” over and over again. Nothing was seen. It was determined that the subject got his finger caught in the garage door. Medics declined.
