April 1, 2019

Extra Patrol Checks – 6:17 a.m. – 9200 block of Denni St. – The school advised that alcohol bottles were being found in the playground area often and requested that extra patrol checks be maintained.
Petty Theft – 3:48 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – A subject who reportedly came in four times a week had an arm full of items. The subject had been combative in the past. The subject often got beer before he went out. The subject took beer and left through the side exit. Police detained the subject, who was subsequently arrested. The subject had two outstanding no-bail warrants for robbery.

April 3, 2019

Burglary – 12:30 a.m. – 4500 block of Everest Cir. – The caller said that a male subject was in her residence. When she woke up, he ran out and was last seen up on the roof. Her husband went after him and the caller was hiding in the bedroom closet. Police made contact with the caller, who now said that the subject was on the roof and that there was no burglary but she thought he tried to come in through the window. Police located an uncooperative raccoon on the roof. The caller was counseled and the raccoon would be leaving the area.
Fraud Report – 3:04 p.m – 9900 block of Juanita St. – The reporting party was reportedly the victim of a scam with a loss of $1250. The suspect was now threatening the reporting party via text message. Police determined that there was no loss at the moment and the money was still in the account. The reporting party met the suspect on Grindr; the subject wanted him to send money via Bitcoin. The reporting party was reversing the check through the bank and would advise if fraudulent activity occurred on the account.

April 4, 2019

Suspicious Property – 7:20 a.m. – 10000 block of Rodeo Ct. – The caller reportedly found credit cards discarded in his backyard. The caller believed that they were possibly related to a subject who police were looking for that was jumping into backyards. Report taken.
Counseling – 5:12 p.m. – 8600 block of Sumner Pl. – A female reportedly presented false evidence in court indicating that the reporting party signed something that he did not. Counseled.

April 5, 2019

Burglary Report – 4:46 p.m. – 4100 block of Elizabeth Ct. – The caller reported a burglary via an open garage door. The loos included tools and a toy car valued at $475. No suspect information. Report taken.
Extra Patrol Checks – 7:18 p.m. – 6200 block of Lincoln Ave. – The caller requested extra patrol checks due to recently finding urine and toilet paper all over the wall.

April 6, 2019

Auto Theft – 12:44 a.m. – Lincoln/Bloomfield – The caller reported the theft of his Ford Mustang after he parked the vehicle when it ran out of gas. Police contact the reported party and determined that the vehicle was no stolen. The reporting party was advised regarding the importance of integrity when filing police reports. Party advised and will comply.
Grand Theft Report – 7:21 a.m. – 9600 block of Fiji St. – The caller reported that a brown briefcase had been taken overnight from his unlocked vehicle. The loss included two iPads, challenge coins, and $30 cash. Report taken.

April 7, 2019

Hazard – 12:40 p.m. – 5200 block of Yorkshire Dr. – A large swarm of bees was reportedly coming from a City tree in front of the location. Public Works notified.
Disturbance (Subject) – 7:01 p.m. – 8500 block of Watson St. – A possibly intoxicated subject was reportedly yelling at Jehovah Witness churchgoers. Police were unable to locate the subject.
