Rep. Harley Rouda to host second town hall on first 100 days

Rep. Harley Rouda (CA-48) will host the second town hall of his term this Thursday, April 11, 2019.

Said Rouda, “I ran for Congress to bring common sense and decency to a place that feels like its forgotten what that means. If we are as thoughtful as we are bold, and open to new ideas as we are determined to do the right thing, then there is no reason we can’t come together to solve problems for our constituents. Orange County has cried out for something new, and I’ve spent my first 100 days in an effort to lead by example.”

  1. Wonderful that the Congressman is holding a Town Hall Meeting. I have found his argument against what the President is doing to the Affordable Care Act confusing. President Trump IS on record of saying that his replacement to Obamacare will have: Pre existing conditions, Lower Premiums, Lower Pharmaceutical charges and better care. So, where is the Congressman getting his information? I hope someone can ask him about his statement. I will be at work and can’t attend!

  2. When are the Democrats going to get involved with the illegal immigration problem and stop being obstructionists? The American citizens can no long pay for large masses of illegal immigrants crossing our border and taping into our welfare system. We need reform NOW!!!

  3. Town halls are great ways to stay in touch with your district. I don’t live in your district, but hope people talk about how ILLEGAL ALIENS are destroying California.
