Registration is available April 8th for the 2019 Summer Break Camp at the Boys & Girls Club of Cypress. The 9-week Summer Program is offered from June 3rd through August 2nd at our Main Clubhouse in Cedar Glen Park. The Club will be open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:30pm. Choose the weeks that best fit your schedule. The weekly fee is $110 and a $10 discount will be given to those who pay at least one week in advance. A one-time $65 summer registration fee is required. Morning and afternoon snacks are included for all members. Contributions from community members help the Club provide free services for active military families and scholarships for families who qualify.
The Summer Program is appropriate for a wide range of ages and interests. The youngest members must have completed Kindergarten and be entering 1st grade for the 2019-2020 school year. Tweens and Teens have their own program in our brand-new Teen Center with separate activities and field trip opportunities. Each week features theme-based group STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) projects, sports activities, arts and crafts, game tournaments, Club competitions, and much more. The Club’s games room includes ping pong, foosball, pool tables, and a variety of video and electronic games. Each week has a different theme such as superheroes, space, CSI, nature, and more.
Special interest classes and clubs are offered at no additional charge and include internet safety, health and nutrition, STEAM clubs, leadership opportunities, dance, cooking, and much more. Optional field trips are offered for an additional fee each week and include outings to exciting locations such as Boomers, Santa Ana Zoo, Glow Zone, Big Air, and ice skating.
