Supervisor Andrew Do to address Garden Grove Republican Women on local issues

Supervisor Andrew Do will speak to the Garden Grove Republican Women Federated club on Saturday, May 4, 2019. He will discuss the role of a county supervisor and update members and guests on the homeless situation and other local concerns.

The Garden Grove club welcomes Republican and conservative women from Westminster, Stanton, Midway city and other local cities to join them for Supervisor Do’s presentation at the Goldenwest Diner, 13030 Goldenwest St., Westminster. Check-in time is 9:50 for the 10 a.m. meeting.

The club’s mission is to educate and inform women on community, county, state and federal issues. Their 2019 Speakers Series topics have included local services for veterans; sanctuary cities versus the rights of charter cities; women, firearms and the Second Amendment; educational issues such as the controversial new Health Standards (AB 329); as well as some fun topics including the outstanding and award winning musicals of Garden Grove’s hometown Gem Theater.

Club members also have opportunities to register voters, meet and hear local candidates, and work on
