April 19, 2019

Suspicious Subject – 9:58 a.m. – 6400 block of Lincoln Ave. – Two male subjects reportedly were walking around the location and were associated with a blue SUV. Police contacted three subjects and it was determined that the vehicle was stolen out of Ogden City, Utah. Additionally, the two license plates on the vehicle were out of Las Vegas. All three subjects were arrested for auto theft and the vehicle was towed from the location.
Traffic Hazard – 3:30 p.m. – Valley View/Orangewood – Three vehicles were reportedly pulled over in the #1 lanes with the subjects trying to catch the ducks. Some of the ducks may have gotten run over. Unable to locate.

April 20, 2019

Petty Theft Report – 10:39 a.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – A display cell phone was reportedly stolen from the location the day before. There was no workable suspect information at that time. The value of the stolen phone was $949.99.
Suspicious Circumstances – 1:15 p.m. – 10100 block of Angela Ave. – The reporting party reportedly found some suspicious property was found while cleaning his lawn. The property included a vial and other items he couldn’t make out. Assisted.

April 21, 2019

Traffic Stop – 2:58 a.m. – Holder/Lincoln – Following a traffic stop, police arrested two subjects on outstanding warrants out of San Bernardino.
Hazard – 11:11 p.m. – Orange/Knott – A power wire reportedly appeared to be sparking and about to catch on fire. Incident handled by OCFA.

April 22, 2019

Disturbance (Subject) – 4:39 p.m. – 10900 block of Meridian Dr. – The caller reported a possibly under the influence of drugs throwing items and spraying hand sanitizer in the bathroom. The subject stepped outside of the location and took things out of the trash can. The subject was detained and subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Identity Theft – 7:32 p.m. – 6600 block of Reefton Ave. – An unknown subject reportedly called the reporting party, and the reporting party gave the subject his driver’s license number and Social Security number. Police determined that there was no crime at this time. The reporting party was given resources on what should be done to prevent being a victim of a crime and giving information to strangers on the phone.

April 23, 2019

Counseling – 7:25 p.m. – 4800 block of Lincoln Ave. – An intoxicated subject called to state that his cat was missing. The subject was intoxicated and uncooperative with Dispatch. The subject found his cat.
Illegal Peddler – 3:30 p.m. – 5200 block of Olga Ave. – The caller was upset because two subjects reportedly opened her mailbox to stick a flier inside. It was unknown what they were selling. Police contacted the subjects and determined that they had a permit from the City. Checked okay.

April 24, 2019

Traffic Hazard – 9:38 a.m. – Valley View/Katella – A female subject wearing a black jacket and a naked bottom was reportedly crossing Valley View. The subject checked and was advised. She was wearing a long coat and would be en route home.
Animal Information – 12:45 p.m. – 5900 block of Cathy Ave. – The caller reportedly a large bee swarm, possibly a hive on private property, but the bees were near the sidewalk and school would be out soon. The bees were gone on the arrival of police.
