April 15, 2019

Keep the Peace – 5:44 p.m. – 7800 block of Barbi Ln. – The caller found his packages at a different residence and requested an officer to stand by while he took them.

April 16, 2019

Suspicious Vehicle – 11:25 a.m. – 7200 block of Bourbon Ln. – A vehicle was reportedly left running for approximately 25 minutes with an unknown subject in the passenger seat. It was determined that it was an unmarked detective vehicle.
Fight – 2:35 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – Approximately 30 juveniles were reportedly involved in a fight with possible injuries. Unable to locate.
Petty Theft – 4:37 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – Loss Prevention had a subject detained in the office after the subject attempted to steal miscellaneous items. Police arrested 52-year-old La Palma resident for receiving/concealing stolen property and shoplifting.

April 17, 2019

Foot Patrol – 1:09 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Coyote Creek – While on foot patrol, police contacted a subject, who was subsequently arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Object Thrown at Vehicle – 2:57 p.m. – 5500 block of La Palma Ave. – Four to five juveniles were reportedly throwing rocks at a vehicle in the drive thru. No prosecution was desired. En route to notify the school.
Vandalism Report – 7:57 p.m. – 5800 block of Iris Cir. – The caller’s house sitter reported that the mailbox had been broken into. There was no suspect information and it was unknown if there was any loss. No report desired at this time.

April 18, 2019

Disturbance (Subject) – 7:11 p.m. – 5500 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A customer was reportedly harassing an employee and refusing to leave over a transaction. The caller advised the subject that he could return when the manager was at the location. The subject was advised regarding the civil matter and provided with the manager’s phone number.
Counseling – 9:59 p.m. – 7500 block of Mark Cir. – The caller sells items on eBay, and the items mailed back to the caller were not the same. Log number issued. No report desired.

April 19, 2019

Petty Theft Report – 6:27 p.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – The caller stated that her wallet was stolen while at the hospital. Report taken.
Police Information – 6:42 p.m. – 5800 block of Iris Cir. – The reporting party stated that the suspect told her that he was going to put a bullet in her head. The caller requested that we document the information. She had already filed a report with her local police in West Virginia.

April 20, 2019

Suspicious Circumstances – 12:14 p.m. – 8400 block of Walker St. – A suspicious subject was reportedly attempting to take keys from a customer’s vehicle. The keys were recovered. One subject detained. The subject had a purse on his person. Cypress Police was contacted to contact the female to whom the purse belonged and determine if she was the victim of a crime. The subject was arrested for assault on a deadly weapon, false report of identity to a peace officer, obstruction, battery on police, receiving/concealing stolen property.
Welfare Check – 3:18 p.m. – 8000 block of Rose St. – The front door was reportedly ajar and the side gate open. A stool was intentionally placed in front of the door. Police contacted the homeowner and determined that the door had just been painted.

April 21, 2019

Counseling – 8:14 a.m. – 8000 block of Andre Ln. – The caller advised that the husband, who was on parole, was possibly under the influence of meth and should not be driving. The subject had the female’s vehicle. Assisted.
Assistance – 6:36 p.m. – Centerpointe – Hotel guests were reportedly using the grill in the parking lot. Party advised and will comply.
