Carolyn Cavecche – President and CEO of Orange County Taxpayers Association Cavecche reviews suggested changes to historic Proposition 13. Passed in 1978, Prop 13 prevents property owners from being priced out of their home or business due to escalating annual property tax increases.

However, the liberal Sacramento legislature wants a ballot initiative that would split Prop 13 so commercial property taxes are calculated at higher rates. Cavecche discusses how a Prop 13 split could result in increases passed along to consumers and businesses, forcing many to relocate out of California.

Heather Allen – Outreach Advocate for the California Rifle and Pistol Association Allen reviews the organization’s history of protecting the Second Amendment. Allen focuses on how the organization plans to protect Second Amendment rights in liberal California.

In addition to these two informative presentations, the lunch meeting offers like-minded women and men an opportunity to learn more about Republican Women Federated and how they can be part of America’s largest grassroots organization.
