Cypress PD issues advisory for assault with a deadly weapon incident

On Sunday May 5, 2019, at 8:43 P.M., Cypress Police Department Officers responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Denni Street.

The victims stated a male Black or Hispanic wearing a dark shirt and dark pants shot into their vehicle following a road rage incident. Several bullets were fired into the vehicle, striking one passenger with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was last seen as a passenger in a dark mid-sized newer SUV fleeing eastbound Lincoln.
