April 25, 2019

Incident Report – 9:55 a.m. – 4300 block of Orange Ave. – The reporting party located a pornography video that had been going around the last few weeks. The reporting party had a subject was possibly involved. Incident report taken.
Assist Outside Agency – 1:07 p.m. – 10100 block of Saint Ann St. – OCFA was responding to a female who reportedly broke the lock on her residence and needed assistance getting inside. A 10-week-old and a four-year-old were in the residence. Assisted.

April 26, 2019

Found Property – 12:10 p.m. – 9400 block of Ethel St. – The reporting party turned in credit cards, driver’s license, and other miscellaneous property. Police contacted the sister of the property’s owner. The subject’s vehicle was burglarized the day before. A police report was filed. Assisted.
Counseling – 3:09 p.m. – 5275 Orange Ave. (Cypress Police Department) – The reporting party worked for a construction company and reportedly found one of his welders for sale on Offer Up. Counseled.

April 27, 2019

Vehicle Burglary – 7:56 a.m. – 6100 block of Chip Ave. – Two suspects reportedly took a chainsaw valued at $200 from a work truck. No report desired. Assisted.
Patrol Check – 5200 block of Lincoln Ave. – The caller reported a suspicious subject in the area. The caller believed that this subject was planning a terrorist attack because he didn’t make eye contact when walking down the street. Unable to locate.

April 28, 2019

Vehicle Burglary – 7:04 a.m. – 5500 block of Sprague Ave. – An unknown suspect reportedly broke the rear passenger side window and stole two drills and a boombox. The total loss was valued at $600. Report taken.

April 29, 2019

Animal Information – 1:49 p.m. – Orange/Moody – A turtle was reportedly in the lanes of traffic on Orange between Denni and Moody. Citizens rescued the turtle and put it back at Willow Park.
Counseling – 7:23 p.m. – 5400 block of Mildred Cir. – The reporting party’s 11-year-old daughter reportedly received suspicious text messages from an unknown subject. There was no crime at this time. The reporting party already took steps to block the user.

May 1, 2019

Hail By Citizen – 8:34 a.m. – Lincoln/Walker – The caller reportedly found syringes in a planter at Lincoln/Grindlay. The property was located and disposed of.
DUI – 9:57 p.m. – 4900 block of Lincoln Ave. – The caller reported a vehicle with two occupants, with one subject drinking from a brown bag. Police determined that there was no DUI. The passenger was intoxicated and the driver, who was the passenger’s brother, was taking him home.
