John House to speak on hearing loss

The City of Orange Hearing Loss Association of America chapter welcomes John W. House, M.D. to its Saturday morning, June 1, 2019 meeting. Dr. House is board certified Otolaryngologist and Neurotologist with a private practice at the world renown House Providence Hearing Health Centers (formerly known as the House Ear Clinic and before that the Otologic Medical Group). The two-hour meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. at University United Methodist Church (18422 Culver Drive, Irvine). There is no charge to attend, but an optional $5 donation is encouraged to help cover costs (room rental and real-time captioning).

Dr. House’s practice is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and related disorders and diseases. He is a Clinical Professor at both USC and UCLA. He has been president of many professional organizations, has received many honors and has been an invited speaker at many Departments of Otolaryngology in this country and Keynote speaker in many foreign countries. Many doctors from around the world have trained at the House Ear Clinic. In addition, Dr. House has taken care of many famous and well-known patients including President Reagan, the King of Saudi Arabia, and numerous movie personalities including Steve Martin. He will share information regarding such conditions as Meniere’s disease, acoustic neuroma, tinnitus, SSHL (sudden sensori-neural hearing loss) among others. Everyone is invited to come with questions related to your hearing health.

Light refreshments are offered along with a 50/50 drawing. A $5.00 per person donation is requested to help defray the cost of CART. Following the program some members socialize with a no-host lunch (to be determined at the meeting). For more information, email: [email protected]
