Accomplishments of the past year and introduction of newly installed officers will be celebrated by members of the Long Beach Branch of American Association of University Women at the final meeting and buffet luncheon of the branch year, Saturday, June 1 at Best Western Golden Sails Inn, 6285 E. Pacific Coast Hwy., Long Beach, CA 90803 starting at 9:30 a.m. Newly elected President, Denise Montoya, will announce the focus and objectives aligned to AAUW’s mission, that will guide the branch for next year through her theme of “Looking Back, Moving Forward.”
Denise Montoya and Shelley Arnold, Co-Presidents, will install officers for 2019-2020: Denise Montoya. President; Jeanne Caveness and Stelet Kim, Co-Presidents elect; Ginny Baxter and Charlotte Joseph, Co-Program Vice Presidents; Dee Dee Catalano, Membership Vice President; Dianne Bradfield, AAUW Fund Vice President; Linda Westman and Sandra Shelly, Co-Secretary: Deloris Mayuga, Treasurer; and Linda Patten, Investments Vice President.
Students from the Long Beach City College Performing Arts Department will be performing a series of short, hilarious plays from their current production of Love Sick, directed by Anthony Carreiro and written by John Cariani,.
