Suspicious Subject – 9:35 a.m. – 4400 block of Casa Grande Cir. – A male transient had reportedly been breaking into vacant homes and sleeping. The maintenance supervisor was following the subject. Police arrested a male subject for a court order violation.
Fraud Report – 2:46 p.m. – 10200 block of Christopher St. – The reporting party was reportedly the victim of a “grandson in jail” scam with a loss of $5000. Log item issued.

Counseling – 8:18 p.m. – 4800 block of Linaro Dr. – The caller reported incidents from two consecutive nights. The first night the residence was toilet papered, and on the night prior to the call streamers and bottles were thrown all over the yard. Counseled.
Fraud Report – 12:27 p.m. – 11300 block of Madeira St. – The reporting party tried to respond to a CraigsList ad regarding renting a property. The person who listed the address requested that the reporting party send a deposit check. The loss was $5,600. The suspect was not the owner of the residence. Report taken.

Petty Theft Report – 11:06 a.m. – 8700 block of Moody St. – Former tenants reportedly stole the garage door motor. No report desired at this time. The reporting party would call back if the problem was not resolved.
Traffic Collision – 7:27 p.m. – 9300 block of Walker St. – Multiple callers reported a traffic collision with a vehicle inside a residence on the corner. The driver got out of the vehicle. Building inspector requested. Police requested paramedics for the resident in shock. A male subject was arrested for DUI causing injury. A tow truck was requested for the vehicle.

Keep the Peace – 9:13 a.m. – 8800 block of Belday St. – The caller advised that she left their dog with a friend the night before for a couple hours and now the friend was keeping the dog and giving it to his daughter for a birthday present. The caller requested that police keep the peace while they retrieved the dog. Assisted.
Petty Theft Report – 1:54 p.m. – 9000 block of Brownstone Cir. – The caller reported the theft of month and year tags from the caller’s vehicle. Police determined that there was no sign of a crime. The tabs appeared to have been missing for some time. The registered owner was unable to provide any further information. Log item issued and the reporting party was advised to contact the DMV for further.

Extra Patrol Checks – 12:13 p.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield Ave. – The caller requested extra patrol checks regarding her house being egged during the night.
Counseling – 7:16 p.m. – 6300 block of Bataan St. – The caller’s neighbor was reportedly throwing eggs at the caller’s house. Counseled.
June 4, 2019
Disturbance (Subject) – 4:54 p.m. – 10000 block of Valley View St. – A subject created a disturbance, yelling and cursing. The subject became even more upset when the reporting party asked him to leave the business. When the reporting party told the subject he was going to call the police, the subject cursed and said to “go ahead and call the pigs.” The subject was gone on the arrival of the police.
Patrol Check – 11:38 p.m. – 8600 block of Watson St. – Three vehicles were contacted in the parking lot. All three drivers were advised regarding the closure time of the park.
