On Saturday, July 13th, Long Beach Towne Center will celebrate the centuries-old artistry of street painting with a FREE Chalk Festival from noon to 3 p.m. Throughout the event, 15 talented artists will use hundreds of sticks of pastel chalk to create a collection of eclectic, mesmerizing and breathtaking chalk murals. The Long Beach Towne Center Chalk Festival will also offer a number of family-friendly activities including balloon twisting, face painting, music, and a special Children’s Chalk Zone where kids of all ages will be invited to create their own chalk masterpieces.
